Children's
Church: (Nurseries are provided during Worship for infants,
birth to age 3.) Children are invited to come for the Children's
Sermon early in the Worship Service. Those ages 4 to 6 years
old then go to Children's Church, which provides age-appropriate
worship activities such as Bible study, stories, crafts and
music.
Children's
Choirs: Living Christianity day-to-day with songs designed
for children age 3 through Grade 5. While building confidence
and self-esteem, it is a special time for children to share
God's love through music. Cherub (preschool-kindergarten)
and Elementary (1st-5th Grades). Choirs meet on Wednesday
evenings.
Children's
Ministries: We have several events for children throughout
the year to provide fun, fellowship and knowledge of Jesus.
These events include an anual Easter celebration with an emphasis
on the true meaning of the "holy day" an elaborate Fall Festival
and our annual Christmas festivities. Periodically, we hold
Parents' Nights out, providing a loving Christ-centered environment
for parents to leave their children while they enjoy a much
needed time to recharge.
Summer Vacation
Bible School: VBS is an exciting outreach mission held
each summer for children through 5th grade. Older youth and
adults are encouraged to participate as leaders or teachers.
This week is devoted to teaching children about God on their
level.
Junior and
Senior High United Methodist Youth Fellowship (2 Groups): An opportunity for teens to explore who they are and
who God calls them to be within a safe environment. Group
members are helped to grow toward becoming disciples through
worship, recreation, discussion, study, leadership and service
experiences. Meets Sunday evenings.
